The Cascadilla School is an independent high school founded in 1876 as a preparatory school for Cornell University. The school offers students today a flexible but traditional curriculum in grades nine through twelve. The Cascadilla School campus is located immediately adjacent to Cornell University and is recognized and accredited by the New York State Department of Education. Cascadilla has maintained its historical association with Cornell University through the use of its libraries, dining halls, and other facilities. Our graduates attend many of the leading colleges and universities throughout the United States. Students from countries all over the world and from the United States are guided by an expert faculty on the Ithaca, New York, campus. Cascadilla’s great location not only ensures that international students gain an excellent education but also allows them to safely experience many aspects of American culture and life.
