Local Students

The Cascadilla School is an independent high school founded in 1876 as a preparatory school for Cornell University. The school offers students today a flexible but traditional curriculum in grades eight through twelve. The Cascadilla School campus is located immediately adjacent to Cornell University and is recognized and accredited by the New York State Department of Education. Cascadilla has maintained its historical association with Cornell University through its libraries, dining halls, and other facilities. Our graduates attend many of the leading colleges and universities throughout the United States. Students worldwide and from the United States are guided by an expert faculty on the Ithaca, New York campus. Cascadilla’s great location ensures that international students gain an excellent education and allows them to experience many aspects of American culture and life safely.
